Dear Branch Members,

Welcome to a new hockey season, hockey our national game and what we are known best for all over the planet.

“AAA” hockey will spread its wings to fly this fall.   The program is being offered at the Bantam and Midget levels. I believe this will now place us on the same playing level as the rest of the Nation.  A great deal of time and work has gone into this pilot project and I wish the organizers every success. Oh and thank you.

The 2007-08 season will end with the hosting of two National Events.

• The Midget Championships in Arnprior.
• The Junior “A”RBC Cup with Cornwall as the host site.

To the Host Committees of both these championships “thank you” for your hard work and dedication.

Strategic Planning is still high on my agenda for this season.  I hope to kick this off early in October.

Last season the Hockey Summit project was completed and the results have been posted on the web page for you to review.  Please take time to do so and let us know what you are thinking.
